Hello Shark Families,
We are nearing summer and looking forward to a great summer! Here are some important items that are new for 2024:
Team suits and Swag:
Fins for Practice:
We are asking swimmers to have a pair of fins for practice. We believe these will be a very valuable training tool to develop proper technique and speed. Do not get very long fins like for snorkeling, or very short fins (often called zoomers). Swimmers should have a standard training fin similar to the options below:

Meet Sign Ups Deadlines:
This summer we will have all our meets on Saturdays (except for 1 day of City Meet). Meet sign-ups on Swimtopia will be due each week by noon on Wednesday. This will include swimmer events and volunteer shifts.
League Disqualification Plan
In an effort to help all swimmers across the league to learn the sport and prepare for City Meet, the league is proposing the following tiered DQ system. DQ’s are a normal part of the swimming experience, but we hope this system can help everyone across the league.
Each week, a new theme with rules will be introduced and enforced during meets. The rules build on themselves until almost all rules have been covered by City Meet. At the City Meet there will be USA swimming officials and all of these rules will be enforced. We hope this system will help coaches, swimmers and parents ramp up to fully legal swims!
