Coaches

Everything we do centers around three main goals:

Fun with a purpose -  If it isn't fun, then why are we doing it?  Happy swimmers build life-long friendships, confidence, and swim fast.

Progress over perfection - We value and celebrate progress.  Coaches will actively coach stroke technique and race strategy to help all swimmers improve.  From beginners to seasoned swimmers, everyone can be a bit better than they were yesterday.

Teamwork makes the dream work - The Sharks work as a team.  Everyone will be encouraged and expected to do their part.  Set a good example with your own attitude and effort and cheer on your teammates.  We also focus on sportsmanship and helping everyone realize they are a valuable contributor to our team.

Quinn Reyes Junior Coach / Swimmer

I’ll be a senior at Rocky Mountain High School this 2026 fall and I have been swimming for SCCA for 12 years now. I absolutely love the SCCA community and I am so incredibly excited to coach for this team again! Growing up, I always looked up to my coaches and appreciated how they always made the season so much fun. Summer has always been the highlight of my year and my goal for this season is to create that same effect for the kids! I swim and dive for Rocky’s Varsity team during the winter and play volleyball for them during the fall. I have also been a lifeguard and swim lesson instructor for SCCA for 3 years, so you’ll see me around quite a bit here! So excited to see everyone’s growth through this season!
