Shark Families,

Thanks to everyone for making today a great meet.  We swam tough after a long weekend and proved victorious over the Hurricanes and Stingrays!  Attached you will find our meet results and team scores.

Additionally, you will see a Shark Report card.  Here you can see times over the course of the season, time improvements and points scored for the team.  What is awesome is that every person who has swum a meet has scored points and gotten at least one personal best!  For everyone who has gotten a personal best this season, be looking for a special "PR" ribbon in your folder soon!

Coming up:

• Regular practices Thursday, Friday, Monday and Tuesday
• Next Wednesday is an away meet at Bucking Horse.  This will be a meet where swimmers are encouraged to focus on events they haven't tried yet.  Swimmers who are close to making a state qualifying time will be focusing on those particular events.  This will be our last regular swim meet.
• The City Meet Championships will be on Friday, July 22 (11 & older) and Saturday, July 23 (10 & younger).  I must have entries ready to go by the end of the day next Tuesday.  This meet is a bigger time commitment than most other meets because it is large, however, we will take any sharks who want to swim and try to repeat our 2021 championship!  Coaches will be sending out more info in the coming days, but in the mean time be thinking about what events your swimmer might want to do.
• Next Friday will be our annual Swim-a-thon fundraiser that will take place during practice times from 7-9:30am.  More information to come soon.
