Shark Families,

We survived a cold morning and did some great swimming!  As you may have noticed, the officials were holding swimmers to a higher standard on the rules so there were more disqualifications today.  Attached you can find the results of the meet.

If you or your swimmer was disqualified today, welcome to the club!  It happens to all swimmers at some point (I was personally DQed the first 11 races I swam as a club swimmer).  It is an opportunity to learn, get better and grow.  Our coaches are working and will continue to work with swimmers on swimming events legally, but know that not everything is a quick fix. Embrace the journey!  We focus on progress over perfection.

We also have a home meet next Wednesday!  The entries are open and need to be submitted by Monday evening at 9pm.  I am going to challenge every swimmer to swim the max amount (3) this meet!  

Practices will be as normally scheduled this week except for on Wednesday when we have our meet.  I am so proud of our swimmers and excited to be a part of this team.  Thanks again to everyone for your support of the SCCA Sharks!
